SimXperience Accuforce Pro First Look

In this first look, I try it with Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally, iRacing and Project Cars. My focus was mainly on iRacing and Project Cars as I need more time with Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rally.

I also try it with a few different rims to show the flexibility and how easy it is to install an aftermarket rim tot he Accuforce wheel button box and paddles shifters.

I actually called Darin on Thursday night and he helped me out quite a bit with SC4.  He also uploaded an MX-5 profile to the Owner's Club for me, and I was a bit quicker with that, so I'm definitely glad I got in touch.

I love strong force feedback, and i love the idea of taking your hands off the wheel when you going to crash, exactly what a real driver should do. SimXperience just give us one step closer to real racing :D

Nice. I spotted the pic I took of the notch (5:44) I cut in my Momo Model 27/C rim.
It wasn't strictly necessary to do that. I could have purchased longer screws and used spacers but it was easy to cut with a scalpel and I like the rim sitting flush with the button box.

Were you referencing the Sim Racing Garage review when talking about the feedback? If so I think you have taken what they said slightly out of context. They were talking in relative terms, not absolute terms and the criticism was more aimed at the fidelity and responsiveness (comaparatively) not the strength of the feedback.

Good review. I just got my Fanatec CSW V2 literally 5 days ago and I like it so far. I hope I don't regret getting that instead of something like the accuforce after seeing this review

Absolutely an incredible wheel. Just a tad expensive for my budget and I doubt my cheap pine desk would hold it for long. I have to turn down my T500 to keep it from breaking my desk. Plus I would need a second rig, or a first really, for my PS4. But I can dream and I would love to have one of those wheels... Great video.

Thanks for the great review Darin.  I'm curious if when playing off camera do you generally race in 3D, perhaps even use a rift?  I'd like to know your take on it and if you think it provides advantages.  I could imagine this wheel paired with the final Oculus Rift being a pretty amazing experience.

I want 1 and a rig to mount it to plus a large house to put it in maybe in the country with a lake. I will just be thankful for what I got and try to stop wanting things so much.

The video mentioned was by sim racing garage, and even one of the testers admitted he uses the Accu Force at home and picked it dead last compared to the other two wheels.

Inside Sim Racing This looks like quite the aim real. I do race in real life, but being in Canada, means I only get about 6 months. Sure, in the off months I'm turning wrenches, but I do like to race simulators. I have an old Logitech Memo force feedback but it's already been rebuilt a few times. That DIY kit would be great for me to fasten an old steering wheel to and make a pedal box out of some old Cobra Jet pedals I have laying around. Keep up the awesome videos and tutorials!!

If I had kids, I would sell every one of them for this wheel...then I would have some more so I could sell them for some DSD pedals to go with it!  Inside Sim Racing Darin, do you have this wheel for keeps now, or do you have to give it back after you have done a few reviews?

I'm on Batch 4 and would like to ask some questions

1) I love my T500RS response in Assetto Corsa, so how does AF behave in AC ? I'm doing daily Nordschleife run almost everyday before firing up any other SIM.

2) If I have installed SC4 in PC 1, can I install in PC 2 using the same license ? ( I have 2 pc with different specs )

How did you move FPS & TAB black boxes outside of the main monitor? When I press alt+k, I can only move them within the borders of the main monitor.
