Traveling to Colombia to Meet a Woman? ✈️ Do This After You Land

So you went online and a found a beautiful Colombian single and now you want to travel to Colombia to meet her. All you have to do in order to be safe in Colombia in a situation like that is not to be stupid. Jump on plane and rent your own Airbnb. Don't go to their house or Airbnb. And don't leave your stuff with them when you're not around. Just act like you would with a person you just met while taking into account that many people in Colombia are very poor so some of them will try to scam you.

Hi Geno, all good advise. I would also add join a Spanish language school for a month or so. Personally, I would organise to rent a motorbike and tour around the country

First trip was a three city tour, 3 days each, Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena! Great time, went with a group. Second trip met a woman on line and went to Cali, to meet her. 2 1/2 years later we are married. Trying to get her a Visa is frustrating and a long process.

Bogota is where someone who has never visited Colombia should visit first! It has a lot of things to do more than any other city. Yes, you have to be careful. Lots of youtube videos on expats who love Colombia until they get robbed. Plan your trip accordingly.
