I did the same set up, I want the truck fast just not too fast. This looks to be manageable, people are over gearing this truck and making it look like a 2WD truck. GREAT VIDEO Man...

Is that a 6s x maxx or a 8 s x maxx? How is it? I’ve been wanting a x maxx since they came out. I’ve found a 6 s x maxx for sale that I’m quite interested in but I hear they have some issues .

I read that if you use too small of a battery it can mess up your esc. I think the minimum for the xmaxx is 5000 if I remember right. I ran 4000 mAh a couple times as well and didn't have any issues but I didn't want to push it after hearing that it could be damaging

Hey man ' don't get me wrong . Even as I have replaced 'or rebuilt almost every thing on the 04' model that I bought in 08' that is a 4x4 E-MAXX . I just got tired of replaceing front axil 's !! Now It Is a 2 wheel drive & I found a set of losi front wheels that I had to drill out the center's about 10 Thow. to make them fit the spindel's & put a set of street tires on the back . It looks bad ass w/ the 67 G T O body on It & by takeing all that weight off the front end It will do wheelies like U wouldent believe !! I have to say It is way better than the old Tamya I still have !!!

Can i run 6s lipo without changing the gearing? I dont know anything about RC cars. I have a stampede 4x4 brushed and its a tank. I need something bigger for taller grass and speed for me isnt a huge deal.
