I’m in the same pannier as you! One bike for me, but she wants a bike and she has the two cars. That’s pretty even I reckon (as she looks over my shoulder) 😂😂😂💯👍🏾🇦🇺

You hit the nail on the head...you made the correct choice. We would probably have 1/2 dozen bikes in the shed if we had the money and were allowed.

I think motorcycle riders all have a dream list of bikes. If only we could have one for everyday of the week. Now you got me dreaming. Great video. M🏍T🛵etc

I feel your pain. I want a sport bike and a cruiser.... actually had that for awhile but had to sell one. I will get there again.... would like a grom too.... but that's just being selfish.. Cheers

My wife has never understood it when I had 2 or more bikes or cars either, but I had multiples anyway when I was younger. I still would but I can't afford to now. I want a street bike and a dual sport at least. I can see you're very HAPPY with 1. Ride safe, stay healthy mate.

Enjoy what you got & keep dreaming about what you want :-)

If you go ADV and plan on doing any real offroading, definitely go the 650 (first time you hit ruts, mud, roots....ANY real trail feature....or drop the bike and have to lift it, you'll be glad that you did), if you'd only be doing easy dirt roads, any ADV bike size would be ok (that's just my opinions, of course, but I've been riding predominantly offroad for nearly 43 years, and have ridden ADV bikes 10's of thousands of miles, so it's an educated opinion 😜), besides like you said, if you were to get to the point of having two bikes, you already have the fast one. Great video and topic, brother! Good to see you out riding 😊✌

Bikes are often bought with the heart, not the head. We don't analyse the most practical choice, we buy the bike that makes us happy. To me this illogical way of choosing a motorcycle actually makes the most sense.
I think you made the right choice.

I had a -93 Yamaha Super Tenere 750 for some time, it was a great adventure bike and worked well offroad too. And a Yamaha FZ1, awesome sport tourer. But both are sold now. My Triumph Speed Triple doesn't fit as sport tourer, its a sport bike imo. I wish I kept the old Super Tenere, but it is what it is :)

I only have space in my life for one too. Approaching 60 when I bought it, I went Tiger for the comfort, and it turned out it had all the performance I needed for the road too!

For me being a 5' 7" makes all the difference some of the adventure bikes are to high for me .great video as usual my friend .

I almost bought a VStrom, the BMW I chose was only $1000 more and had so much more including a 3yr warranty and roadside assistance. I do not miss my Ninja ZX6R. You can actually test ride a BMW as well to make sure it suits you. Hope you choose a bike that speaks to you and you fall in love with it as I did. Ride safe mate!

I once considered a GS and went along to my local dealer to have a closer look. Everything about it was great and they even offered me some step ladders to get on it...🤣 Adventure bikes are great if a) you have plenty of 💷💷💷💷 cash. b) have the inside leg measurements of Hagrid and c) if and if you intent to do a lot of off road touring. I'd suggest you stay with what you have, it's a great bike..!👍

I'd definitely go with an adventure bike like a Triumph Tiger. It'd be nice to go off road and run through the water ways and dirt. I just think about the journey and what you would experience along the way. Just a totally different perspective on riding in my opinion. Ride Safe!

I love the idea of having an Adventure Bike but I don’t know that it would be very practical (for me, that is). Before I bought my CB650F I briefly considered the CB500X and how much fun it could be to do some light off-roading but there just weren’t enough places to go close to home to make it worthwhile. I’m very happy with my current bike but that doesn’t mean I can’t dream about having a fleet of bikes (one for every occasion) 😂

Great video! Love hearing the dilemma and your break down of why you went with your sport bike instead of the adventure bike.

I wish I had a sport tourer for trips, a sport bike for the track and a road legal off road bike for the trails.

do!

Doesn't matter what you ride, or how many bikes you got- so long as you enjoy every ride, it's all good.
