That’s interesting. When I cold call, I pretty much do the same thing except I think of the Bruce Lee quote, “be like water.” In my mind, which could be purely metaphorical and imaginative, is to pretend to be part of a river that finally ends up in the ocean (goal). The river bends, yields, immerses and in time finds itself in the ocean, regardless of the obstacles.

When someone says no, in my mind, I’m reminded of a large boulder, which are many in streams and rivers, that I bypass and continue my journey. The boulder remains while I continue. When I get the yeses, the water I represent nourishes the earth and life all around me.

It’s pretty wooo wooo, but it works for me.😂😊
