With the difference in loft being 4.5 degrees between both 7 irons, you can imagine there’s some difference in distance.

It's all about having the gapping correct throughout the bag and thus number is so unimportant. Loft comparison would be better with same shaft, length an lie angle. So not sure what to think of the comparison as I can't. So you are completely right. It is in fact a 6 iron. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

I agree with you Bry about the lofts on modern irons - the Titleist T400 7 iron is 26deg, that's the same as my 5 iron!

I watched your video '5 tips for longer drives' - good stuff.
Please could you do the same for irons? (not long drive stuff, just how to increase distances).

Great content yet again, could or would you compare your Nike 6 iron to the p790 7 iron? Although the lofts of the two clubs are different the decent angle is roughly the same as is the peak height so would you expect both irons to stop on the green roughly the same?
