Inspired by our MLX drums of the 80s, the Professional Series returns with the spirit of the original and a refreshed presence for the experienced drummer.

Its EvenPly-Six (5.4mm) North American Maple Shells project on stage and studio with a broad frequency spectrum. The Professional Series includes Pearl's classic RL Lug, OptiMount Tom Suspension System, 2.3mm SuperHoop II Triple-Flanged hoops, Remo UT Pinstripe heads, and a mini-Bass Drum Muffler.

Snare drum sizes are available in 14x5, 14x6.5, & 14x8 (Sold Separately)

My son asked for a drum kit for his 10th birthday in March. We figured he'd lose interest after a couple months, so we bought him Temu's cheapest kit for $275. He's actually getting really good, his cheapo kit is breaking down, and he's asking for not only a new kit, but a professional kit. We told him broken or not, he's gonna have to keep playing that kit, because he's not getting another until his 11th birthday, and he's getting another Temu kit. I absolutely can't wait for him to unwrap this Pearl kit Christmas morning!

If your not a fan of tom mounts you can always remove it and put a Pearl masking plate on.

HAVE LOST their minds!!!! At least within the drum concept!! I thought "what was OLD... is ... NEW again!!" Meaning that when these drums first hit the professional drummer & the musical instruments market place, they REALLY SOUNDED AWESOME!!!

My point is, their are still a ton of drummers who are DYING, AND I MEAN, D Y I N G, to get their hands on a VERY SERIOUS POWER DRUM SET, circa 1980's power drum sets, "Japanese lettering, " and "insignia's" included!!
Look, PEARL GURU's, the next "WINTER NAMM" is close, yet far enough away for an entire line of "PROFESSIONAL, POWER DRUMS" to be put into place!! You guys already have the formula, the knowledge and facilities to make A couple of sets for us professional drummers that want that "power drum sound" again!! Is it for every drummer, I would say no, but I WOULD BET THE PROVERBIAL FARM, that there are more than enough of us out here, waiting, dying (proverbially & literally, we ain't gettin' any younger, ya know!! 😅😉)
why don't you just make A couple of sets for the "NAMM" show in January!??! You just may get a whole lot of new orders for those style of drums, perhaps wayyy more than you ever expected to get!! There is no need to adapt new hardware, FROM stands to tom mounts, you already have those in place. As a matter of fact, no need to change the sizes with regards to circumference, just length, as I honestly believe that the drumming community wants the availability of that style of YOU'LL NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU DO IT!! AND TAKING A TRADITIONAL "STRAW POLL" IS NOT REALISTIC, JUST MAKE "AND THEY'LL COME!!" And, if no one else places orders for them, (which I am about 99.8% sure that WON'T happen, ) and if you have a couple left over from the "NAMM SHOW, " that didn't move the masses, call I WILL BUY THEM FROM YOU!!

What genius at Pearl thought it was a good idea introducing a drum kit with a video where people talking through the whole thing so you can't hear the drums. What's the point, unless the drums sound like garbage and nobody at Pearl wanted you to hear them.
