People who know about the Epic of Gilgamesh might think it's just a made-up tale, something not real or too unbelievable, or just a wild bedtime story. But guess what? Archaeologists in Iraq just cracked open a tomb. They've got terrifying evidence that Gilgamesh, the giant of legends, was no myth. This famous mythical giant was actually real!

Now, imagine this ancient tomb, sealed tighter than a pickle jar for thousands of years. What terrifying secrets are lurking in there? Are we on the brink of finding some of the most chilling secrets ever, and make some of the most shocking discoveries of our lifetime?

This is going to be one epic journey of thrilling discoveries. Let's dive in!

The Epic of Gilgamesh
Finding out that creatures once thought to be only in old stories were real people who walked the Earth is really exciting. One of the most interesting characters in this discovery is King Gilgamesh, the main person in the Epic of Gilgamesh. This old story is all about the life, challenges, and personal growth of King Gilgamesh from the city of Uruk.

Gilgamesh's adventures and amazing abilities are the main focus of this story. They say he's two-thirds god and one-third human, and he's super strong and capable. He's bigger and more beautiful than others, and his family background makes him special. But, like many powerful people, he becomes a bit too proud.

At the start of his rule, Gilgamesh acts like a tyrant. He makes his people work hard on building things and controls the marriages of newlywed couples, causing a lot of trouble. The people of Uruk ask the gods for help, and the gods decide to do something about it. They make a wild man named Enkidu from clay, thinking he can distract Gilgamesh and stop him from causing more problems. Disclaimer:

They've had this for a long time now, and was supposed to do a DNA test to verify that Gilgamesh was 2/3 a god and 1/3 human, but I bet they don't tell us, at least not any time soon.

Gabri-El.Matthew:
Lets just get this 100% straight. As someone that was in Iraq and there during that time in the early 2000s as a US soldier. One, that supposed video of Gilgamesh isnt the actual video. Was the tomb found. Yes. Was there a body. Yes. But was it still looking like it was still alive. 100% not. Was it "big" for the time it came from? Yes. As someone thats 6'5", the body was smaller than me. Probably around 5'10" to 6'. And also, lets get this 100% straight. We found the tomb in Ninevah. Not Uruk. Uruk was the city he built. And I don't know if that body was really Gilgamesh or not, and if he was originally buried in Uruk or not. But the body had evidence of having damage from possible battle. Whatever did damage the body, left evidence of one blow, being a large blade, that left high probability of it being a high temperature. This would make sense if you know the books of Enoch and have read the two different fragmentary versions of "The Book of Giants". Y'all do like to just take rumors and whispers, make up things that aren't even close to being accurate, throwing images up that aren't even close to what was found, and then say we found the supposed body in a location we 100% did not. I'd be more concerned about the earlier whats on Mt. Herman with the UN base there, what happened in Afghanistan with the Ranger and then SF unit there in 2003ish time, and Petra. I'll say this. Djinn and Ifrit are undoubtedly a thing. Some say they are the souls or ghouls or the Giants slain. Don't go to Petra at night. I'm not joking. If you see a green glow, orb, or whatever. Head the opposite way. The original location of "Mecca" was "Petra". Look at the Earliest descriptions of what Mecca was described as. Greek historians of the time that traveked that entire trade route and area never once mentioned mecca, because it wasn't there. The earkiest Iskanic dialect was northern Arabic, not Southern. Or in simplistic terms, the Arabic dialect used in Petra at the time. The oldest mosque all point towards Petra too. Petra had a Kabba too. But no longer and disappeared roughly around the time, I think 812ish, that when text start mentioning Mecca and time Kabbah there. So, all things considered, I'd be much more concerned about those other areas and events, and the available evidence in history that backs that up. I get it. Sumerian, then later Babylonian, and then latest Akkadian mythology is pretty interesting. Same with Assyrian, Ugaritic, Caananite, and Phoenician. Remember. Enki (YWHW), Enlil (Baal Haded). El (Elion, Mardok, later Allah), The Demiurge. In Yizidi traditions, that theme is pretty much preserved is the Islamic, Abrahamic sense. But like, for a lack of a better term, Islamic Gnosticism in a sense, in theme and feel, when comparing to Judeo-Christian Gnosticism or Essenic and Enochian.

I hope this clarifies somethings, and points yall in the directions to look and what to consider and why, and not to focus on the wrong thing, but look at the proper things.

Who stole Gilgamesh from his tomb and more importantly, what are they hiding from us and why???

Disappointing, you didn't mention an actual burial or remains being found. It might have been some sort of library from your description.

A very unnecessarily long video. Where's the video of the actual tomb. Where is the video of the sarcophagus?

Nothing new! What did the US military find in 2003?

This is so wrong on all accounts - Gilgamesh was not Assyrian (21st to 14th century BC), but lived thousand of years earlier as a King in the early Acadian/Sumerian civilisation (4000 to 2500 BC)……….everything else is BS from there on❗️

I certainly hope they could really tell if he truly was 2/3 God and 1/3 Mortal . How epic that would be.
