This game is actually a really good representation of the manga (which can be really dark at some points), so for all the people that liked the game consider giving the manga a try. It's definitely worth it

Fun fact about Yellow: She is 2 years younger than Red in manga. And also Yellow is different than other Kanto Pokedex holders. Unlike Red, Blue, and Green, Yellow have a supernatural powers of the Viridian Forest alongside Lance and Giovanni. Yellow have the ability to use telepathy/psychic powers, heals pokemon, reads the minds of pokemon, and leveling her pokemon into the highest level (presumed to be level 85) at will. After the disappearance of Red in Yellow arc, she disguise herself as a boy by wearing a straw hat to hide her long hair and took a journey on her own to find Red (with Blue and Green's help). And then in the end of Yellow arc, Yellow finally saves Red while Red think Yellow as a boy. At the end of GSC arc, Yellow reveals her true gender to Red which leaves him in shock since Red thought Yellow is a boy. Also, Hidenori Kusaka (The writer of Pokemon Adventures manga) mention that Red and Yellow are in a relationship and according to Serebii, Yellow is Red's current lover (Red's Pikachu and Yellow's Pikachu are an actual couple and they have a baby Pichu named Pibo as Gold's Pichu in GSC arc). She is one of my favourite Female pokemon characters in pokemon franchise. Too bad most people didn't know about Yellow and the Pokemon Manga.

It's great to see that this game keeps improving. I started playing this when it's still ver 1 when there's still no trainer sprites every time there's a dialogue. The pacing is different and even better too.

Man I forgot how crazy Pokémon Adventures is. And I've only read a little of it. Like I remember the part with the zombie Psyduck and the Arbok being cut in half very well. Not sure I read much past that at least in the Red arc. The Adventures manga is still ongoing actually, though I don't know if they are still calling it Pokémon Adventures nowadays. I read a couple volumes of the Sun and Moon and the Sword and Shield arcs. The Sword and Shield one is pretty cool - Sword (aka the male player character) is able to repair Pokémon tools, and Shield (the female player character) is a hacker who works with Professor Magnolia.

My favorite of the manga gen 1 characters is red but green blue and yellow are all absolutely amazing too.
I love how green goes from the mean rival to good friends. Honestly all of them and their friendships is great in the manga.
But the rivals name is green and the girl is blue because in Japan Pokémon red and green released. Most people over in the west call him blue because red and blue released. I read the fan translation before buying the official manga so I always call the male rival green and the girl blue

tbh, the name of the girl is Blue and the guy is Green originally in Japan, just don’t know why they decided to translate the girl to Green and the boy to Blue in America franchise.
I myself refer calling them by their original name tho, and have been calling them like that since the beginning
thats also why I am so appreciate the creator of this romhack for keeping their name

Well it is called pallet town, as in a color pallet. Makes sense most trainers are based off of a color.
