Dana was gone. Erased from existence. She sacrificed her very being for the sake of the world. Coming from the mouth of the goddess who dreamt the entire world, she was nothing but a concept.

And Adol. Said. *No.*

This battle is probably one of the most unique final bosses I've seen in an rpg from a story perspective. You're fighting the primordial source of all life, literally the physical embodiment of the fundamental concept that is life itself, and you're doing it for the sole purpose of being able to see a friend one more time. Not even to save her, just to see her and be able to say goodbye properly. And it manages to do this in a way that's more compelling than almost any other final boss I've ever seen, because I genuinely did want to see Dana again, perhaps more than I wanted to stop the Lacrimosa.

Video games have no business having music this good, but I'm so glad they do.

For once, the true final boss has nothing to do with a villain or even the world's fate. All that matters... is seeing a person dear to you again. Nothing more, nothing less.

The way the sun rises as the music crescendos is so beautiful.

At this point, you'll do anything for Dana. And the game knows it.

I liked how this final battle wasn't to save the world. It was simply for a chance for Adol and the others to see Dana one last time before they left Seiren.

Adol: Whew, we finally defeated Theos-De-Endogram! That took a lot out of me...

Falcom: This isn't even my final form.

Simply amazing. The final battle of the game, and then this incredibly amazing music sounds. Falcom did it again.

More like final boss theme this is Adol's theme, perfectly describing his wild resolution to see Dana one last time and refusing to forget her no matter what. This is pure art.

This boss was almost impossible on inferno difficulty. I damn near ripped my beard off my face. But after well over 30 game overs, I finally can say I beat the origin of life on inferno!

One thing that theos's OST doesn't have compared to this.

THE ADRENALINE RUSH you feel during this battle !!

I came into this blind, no pots, no rez, nothing. All I knew was it was do or die, and there was no way I was dying saving my girl who died for me. I jumped around like a rabid monkey. Love you Dana.

Congratulations. Just when I thought you couldn't surpass the awesomeness of Seven and the Rul-Ende, here comes Life of Origin. Second favorite Ys after Seven. Both are Awesome and I don't get tired of telling you. Thank you, Falcom.
