Não consigo instalar o camtasia, uma vez que o camtasia required.net framework 4, mas a instalação do .net framework 4 falhou devido a um erro fatal durante a instalação.

i tried everything you can imagine durinf days and days! nothing!!!! i cant format pc right now... i cant execute windows update because windows update service stopped working either. nothing is working... i cant install any net framnework. all softwares using this program cant run.... i cant do anything!! i dont have another windows installation. i cant format rigth know because i dont have ssd or hd to perform backups and my hds are all full!! i dont knwo what to do

I have same problem and I tried installing .net 3 and 3.5 first then install 4 and its working in my case.

Problem Solved!!!
The Problem is caused from a corrupt framework folder. This is all you all have to do, find the folder the corrupted file is in. I found mine because it would pop up in a balloon down at the bottom in the task bar. Follow the path and find the folder and when I tried to delete it because it was corrupted I received an error. So it wouldn't allow me to delete, so instead I Renamed it "CRAP" and ran the update and viola it installed perfectly. Here was my path mine was the 4.0 ver. folder. Hope this helps you all.

You have installed a version of Microsoft Windows that is included .net framework 4.8. then you can Try to install .net framework 4.8 but select remove it. then restart system and install .net 4 or higer

Im having the problem as well. there are a few steps i tried in order to get it to work.

First download .net repair framework repair tool.


Run this installation to fix any issues in the registry/ existing framework. 

next run windows updates to check if there are any important updates available. Then install them and check if it works.

Problem fixed!!!
Just like everyone else I had tried everything and got the same end results

Do a fresh instal of windows 7 (again I know) and don't install anything else (Firefox, Skype any of that crap) keep checking for windows updates until everything is installed. After that you can install all the fun stuff
Hope this works for everyone
