Jumping The All New 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro!!!

In this video, I take the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro on a high speed off-road course while at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale Arizona. We jumped the new Tacoma, drifted it, and even took it into town to fill up on some gas. This truck is AMAZING and I can't wait to drive it in April.

We use to put after market turbo kits on our honda civic and integra 4 cylinder cars, they were reliable as funk!

2 things that kills vehicle - Time & Mileage, will be interesting to see "real world" longevity with heat cycles, UV ray cycles over a few years and season change, Also extreme cold and heat changes over the years, those are the factors that really impact what makes a tough truck! looking good so far!

Jon, after reading the comments and your responses, maybe it would have been better to phrase it as:

According to Toyota engineers the driving during the week’s event provided the equivalent of 300, 000 miles’ driving stress for the truck and its components.

Of course, 300, 000 miles would be about 25 years of driving for the average person. That would (among other things) mean 25 winters with its 25 seasons of road salt. That definitely was NOT tested here. I am sure they tested it in salt baths.

The point is that these condensed tests don’t (could not) replicate real world problems fully.

Man Toyota really knocked it out the park with the new Tacomas. Every angle looks so good, especially in TRD Pro spec! I really want to upgrade from my 2nd gen but man the price range has ballooned to insane levels for a midsize truck.

Great video. I test drove the SR5 today just to see how it felt. My TRD off road was supposed to come in Monday the 19 Th and now they are saying another 38 days. But that truck as based as it was drove amazing. I love the turbo wined. It was quick as hell too. I was doing 80 on a blink of an eye. I can’t wait to get mine.
