Great review as always! Never flown KLM short-haul but seems like a pleasant experience. Long-haul, they are good but quite bland.

Thanks for the video Jack. I haven't seen a BLQ-AMS review at all before. KLM intends to change its short-haul onboard product to BoB (buy on board) later this year. AF will do likewise and wanted a trial with BoB this month...but that trial may have been cancelled owing to opposition from AF's cabin crew union. Yes Schiphol is no longer one of the world's best sirports ... its single terminal cannot cope. Transfer times of 40 to 50 mins are simply unrealistic nowadays.

It's so weird. I mostfly fly mid afternoon, and for me checking in with the app, I usally spend no more than five to ten minutes (max) going through security. I guess the time of day might make a big difference?

Also did you notice your KLM E195-E2 was in a 2x2 configuration meaning no middle seats.Do you prefer the 2x2 with no middle seats or 3x3 with middle seats

Is that your 1st time flying E195-E2, if so, how is it and do you feel comfortable flying on the small Brazilian Embraer and is that your last flight in 2024 that you took a few days before 2025? I don't like flying the Embraer because it's too small and dangerous for turbulence on a 2 to 3 hour flight, it's gonna be a uncomfortable flight.
10:47, Same if your transiting and connecting in Bangkok, China, India, Istanbul, Cairo and London, short layover is not a good idea, I recommend 3 to 4 hour layover depending where your going.

Dang, a delay made some other passengers missed their connecting flights! Sometimes an airline can make up the time in the sky even if the departure is late.
