there's something so sweet and satisfying about the scene where Roxanne takes Megamind's wrist to switch the watch and have him turn back from Metroman into Megamind. the entire film, she would've much preferred to see Metroman, but at the end, she's happiest to see Megamind. she believes that he is a good person inside and out and it shows in her genuine smile. The animators did an excellent job conveying emotion throughout this film; all the disappointment, happiness, sadness, anger, it doesn't feel cartoonish or overly exaggerated, it feels very human.

the thing that i loved about their argument in the rain is that you feel for BOTH of them. we've been following megamind's story so we know that having someone who cares loves him is monumental, but roxanne was just lied to! as a viewer you understand both sides and understand they're both right AND wrong, so it makes it hurt to watch!

Mega mind was just a victim of no one ever giving him the chance. They treated him like a Villain from the start so he became a Villain. He played the role everyone saw him as because no one would see him differently despite what he did so why even try to be anything different. Such a sad story. And honestly the only reason he broke out of this cycle was that he had to hide who he was for someone to get to know him for who he is instead of what he is. And in turn he got to know someone else for the first time. Glad it worked out for him. Love this movie.
