My mom watched the Romi Schneider's movie when young and being obcessed with the empress Sissi's story. So she researched more by herself. When I born, she gaved me the name Sylvia (she said its an elegant name) but my nickname was Sissy because the empress. When I did 15 yrs old, she and my dad bought a necklace with earrings with stars shape similar to her famous painting as a gift to me.
I'll watching this movie thinking about my mom, she is dead 16 yrs ago and im sure if she was alive will enjoy watch this movie.

I don't know about this one... The original is a classic for a reason, and the joint Italian and Austrian mini-series was superb. Sissi was a barely a child when she was married, had the mother-in-law from hell, had her children taken from her, argued on behalf of Hungary, and promoted mental health care all while dealing with her own anxiety and depression. An admirable woman with fair skin and a youthful face who probably didn't love her husband, but she didn't hate him either. This looks like it's trying to create a silly love story when the only one who was head-over-heels was the emperor. I hope this doesn't try to go that route.

Forcément je suis de la génération de SISSI avec Romy Schneider, série de 3 épisodes cultes que j'adore. J'ai quand même hâte de voir ce que donne ce SISSI nouvelle version plus moderne ;) En espérant quand même que les SISSI avec Romy passeront durant les fêtes, car pour moi et je ne pense pas que pour moi les SISSI c'est la madeleine de Proust que l'on regarde à Noël avec un éternel plaisir. Les 3 premiers épisodes étaient super bien ! Une revisite moderne, enlevée, dans l'air du temps. La photo est superbe. La mise en scène et le scénarios étaient dynamique, l'histoire prenante. Je ne me suis pas ennuyé une seule seconde. J'ai hâte de voir les 3 prochains épisodes...

La veré porque soy una gran apasionada de Sisi. Tengo entendido que el marco histórico se lo han olvidado y sin marco histórico pierde todo sentido interpretar a una de las más grandes emperatrices

Muchas gracias por el adelanto y yo también comence con las películas de romy schneider por culpa de mi mama que siempre le gusto la historia de Sissi y me la paso a mi esa fascinacion y de ahi que vi otras adaptaciones como la italiana trasmitida por la rai y por eso me encantaría saber por donde ver en castellano esta versión alemana.. Esta versión está mejor que la de Netflix, la chica es más bonita y parecida a Sisi y las batallas me gusta como se ve.
