Breaking News - The Beatles Revolver Mono album is 100% cut AAA!

There was an interesting bit of info in the text that Mazzy posted - the reason the re-cut of the mono was required (instead of just reusing the father/mother plates from the 2014 mono) was that this new pressing will be done at a different pressing plant than the 2014 box (Optimal). It would be nice to know if there are specific differences between pressing plants that require stampers to be modified for their type of pressing machines? Otherwise, isn't getting stampers from another factory to another the easier way to repress? Why not just ship the existing stampers from Optimal in Germany to MPO in France or whomever is pressing the Revolver set this time.

That's the way it should be done! AAA all the Beatles in MONO catalogue as good as 2014 or better going forward. I hope so!

Was hoping for a new mastering that adheres to the sound of the -2/-2. Already have the 2014. Maybe the lathe and upgrades to console will be even better at least than the 2014

So excited. The Taxman stereo remix has a great feel. The original mono mix will be presented as best as possible in AAA. And the list of outtakes sounds fascinating!
