My workout goal? Training for LONGEVITY! 👇
I turned 36 today...and 26-year-old-Lindsey would NEVER have believed this.
As someone who’s been sharing online fitness content for over 10 years at this point (🤯🤯🤯) - many of you have seen me through SO many phases of my personal life AND fitness journey.
Ten years, three babies, and hundreds of different health and fitness “trends” later...I can honestly say I feel stronger NOW than EVER before. Here’s what I attribute it to 👇🏼
✔️Functional strength training (focused on heavy weights!)
✔️Following a workout PLAN (versus combining random group fitness classes)
✔️Daily mobility and knee strengthening exercises
✔️Getting my daily steps in (I strive for 10K a day)
✔️Prioritizing quality SLEEP and recovery
👇Here’s the birthday workout I did today -- to remind myself I CAN sprint + lift heavy things!
.25 mile push pace run + 1 minute all out sprint
10 rep Back Squat
10 rep Heavy Push Press
10 rep Pull Ups
🔁Repeat x 4 sets
