Losing your father at 22 is one thing. Seeing his dead body in a brutal crash is a new level of hell

It’s not a “mistake” to drive drunk. It’s a choice. Get a ride or take an Uber TO your location so you can’t drive home.

Ten years for taking a life is nothing. It's an insult to the man that died and his surviving family and friends.
I will never understand the plea deal system in the US. It's so disgusting

I'm completely shocked. You can drive a vehicle while wasted, cause an accident that kills another person and then casually and kindly be sent home while obviously still being intoxicated? Seriously?! I'm speechless. My heart breaks for the victims' family.

You should not be allowed to go home that same noght after killing someone in a DUI crash. Thats despicable.

my dad died in 2012 from a car crash while he was driving home from work on his motorcycle. the lady who hit him was driving a pickup truck without a license. she only did three months while i had to grow up without a father. terrible terrible world we live in.

A life is only worth 10 years and a $500 fine? What a slap in the face to the family of the victim

10 years after killing someone else’s father due to your own negligence is such a sad thing to hear. It’s always the drunk ones that live.

If you kill someone as a result of drunk driving, you should be charged with murder.

This is precisely the reason we need harsher laws and punishments in this country. They did that family a disservice.

“can i answer this? its my dad” says the man who just single handedly killed someone else’s father

It’s always the drunk drivers that live, awful.

The dad turning to the right to protect his family and take all the damage to himself is such a dad thing to do. God bless your soul sir and rest in peace.

As someone who can stomach ANYTHING on YT and the web, esp vids. This is truly horrible. My thoughts & prayers 🙏🏼 are with the entire Pappas Family 😔

Not only did she lose her dad, but seeing their relationship in those videos, she also lost her bestest friend. That’s utterly heartbreaking.

She is right, she will never get over this. I lost my husband in a crash 8 years ago when he was 38. It doesn’t get easier. 😢 I miss him everyday.

"Everybody makes mistakes" No. That was a choice.

10 years with time served is unacceptable, especially when he's been caught for driving wrecklessly multiple times before. It's a PATTERN meaning he will keep doing it, just as he did. He should have gotten third degree murder charges for the fact that he showed a continuous pattern of dangerous driving and never learned his lesson because he did not care that his idiotic behavior could hurt someone else.
