Handi Quilter Longarm Machines Maintenance 101

Simple maintenance of your longarm is easy with a little knowledge of the hook area. Your Handi Quilter machine needs a drop of oil every bobbin change but additional de-fluffing is also recommended.

We don't recommend cleaning the tracks with anything other than a piece of wadding or soft cloth and water.

You can use canned air for the Infinity, Forte, Amara and Capri.

NOTE: The Infinity stitch plate has wires for the thread cutter underneath the stitch plate. You should refer to the user manual for how to remove the stitch plate on your machine.

Pretty solid information, I tech for a company out of the Tampa area exclusively on HQ machines and the only time ive ever run into a clean machine is when it comes out of the box ;-) they get dirty fast so regularly cleaning is the best way to quickly extend the stitch capability
