Hello friends!

Over the summer, we have welcomed many new quilters and sewists into our community! We love having you here.

As folks have joined us (online and in-person), many have asked the question,
"Which Handi Quilter longarm is right for me?!"

As you can imagine, our answer will vary!

To help our community members, we've put together this event with Kim and Kristina, our Studio Educators, to walk you through options and answer questions. During the live, we encourage you to join and share your questions in the comments! Kim and Kristina are excited to share our families of longarm machines, and equip you with the info you need!

Join us on Thursday, August 29th at 10AM Mountain Time!

Hey ladies, good evening. Wish I had this info before my journey to a longarm. I took about 10 years to get up the courage to purchase one and settled on an Amara because it was the only one that felt 'right' in my hands and I didn't feel like I was wrassling a bear as I did with some other brands. Now, I just need to learn to use the Prostitcher (I'm OK on ruler work and some free motion meandering, but the computer scares the Bejesus out of me...)...thank you for your wonderful educational sessions that are accessible to anyone. You guys rock.

I bought the Simply Sixteen 7 years ago and love it. I debated between it and the next one up, which is now discounted. I am very happy with it for just playing around and getting some quilts done. Thanks for all you do, your video's are very helpful.

Rats, I missed this LIVE. So glad I can watch it after the fact. I just got a Simply Sixteen on a Little Foot Frame with the Little Buddy System. Still learning and loving it.

Had a Baby Lock Crown Jewell II. Great to get into longarm work. Pantographs and such. Last year my wife, the quilter, convinced me (the longarm 'operator') to move up to the Amara 20 with ProStitcher Premium. Wow am I glad I did. So much more opportunity with PS and the Amara is a fine tuned machine. It reminds me of a very high end CNC milling machine I've programmed and operated for work. The Amara's bigger throat allows me to use the more standard "Studio" frame, instead of that Baby Lock Momentum frame, which moves back and forth. Much more easy to load quilts. I love this Amara w/PS and my output and design creativity makes my wife very very happy indeed. Question for Kim and Christina, and all the really talented and smart HQ still pin to the leaders and can do so pretty quickly. Does anyone use those "snappers" devices instead of pins, and do you think it's faster than pinning? Thanks all!
