That's rough. Rescued, then later sold on Craigslist by the person who adopted him. Good thing he got a 3rd chance in life from a person who actually cares.

Horses absolutely recognize people, other horses, dogs, cats etc. I was at a friends farm who had a mare I never rode when we. Were al at the same farm, but she was always at the shows and in in lessons with my horse. when I went to say hello to her it was so obvious she recognized me, her owner even commented on it. I was so blown away that a horse I never even rode or owned would remember me, and remember me fondly. It was a beautiful thing <3

That's why when you rescue and adopt them out you need to keep tabs on them...Craigslist is a place where alot of abused animals show up or people don't want them anymore

I’m confused… how did she lose him after she rescued him? Did he run away? Did she sell him? Was she only fostering him? I feel like we weren’t given very much information about this story. I’d love to know more. It would probably make it more heart-wrenching, but… isn’t that what The Dodo is kind of known for? Most stories from The Dodo bring tears to my eyes.
