Just installed this in my 2016 jk and it was SO EASY! My radio I got from you guys had the red bullet connection! SO no wiring to the rear tail light. I was able to hook it up at the park while my kids played. haha

I just installed the bundle I purchased from you guys, great product and instructions, thank you! Quick(stupid) question though. I'm now installing the backup camera, and the "hole" in my tailgate grommet on my 2016 Jeep JK is so tight, there is NO WAY I can feed the camer wire through it with the existing stock 3rd tailight wire already in there. What is the best way to proceed?

Great video! Just installed this back up camera in our 09 Wrangler JK. I pushed the camera too far in and had to push it out and re align. The camera just needs to be flush with the barrel mount. Thank you.

Great tutorial video 🙏🏾👍🏾. I was a bit confused on the process of connecting the camera power and ground wire to the wiring harness for the brake/reverse light. I seen and understood the the connection procedure, my question is do I have to cut into the existing harness to splice in the ground and power wire of the camera or there is a area to add the new wire in without cutting etc like where the 2 blue wire caps are. From my understanding that portion of The video just shows you explaining the wires colors.

Quick question. We have a 2014 jeep wrangler and when we received the backup camera bundle, there was the long black wire that goes from the mount to the head unit, but the red wire connected to it and connected to the tail light shown in the video we do not have. The only red we have is a wire that is 3 inches. When hooking up the camera in, our 9600 is saying video signal not detected. Do we need to tie into the break lights after all?

What is the red cable with a bullet connection at the video cable end for? I’ve got another red bullet connection at the 9500es harness but can’t find any details on these two wires.

Thinking on getting the sony XAV-AX4000 bundle with the camera for my 2017 JK. Will the radio have a labeled port for the cable?

Trail Seven, does any of the power wiring, or panel removal change for trucks that have the factory sub?

I purchased the bundle from you guys, and installed with the updated instructions. Should the display automatically switch to the camera when put in reverse? Mine is not.

One question. Does the 9500ES support a two camera setup?

When I financially commit to getting a nice screen and a backup cam I’m going to be adding a trail cam as well.

Can I drill a hole into my bumper and seat the camera there? Spare is covered.

I plugged and secured all the correct connections but when I seat the monitor and turn on my jeep, I’m not getting any power to the screen. Any help? Or should return it back.

Thanks for sharing, After installation of the rear camera bracket, When stop the vehicle at the bottom of the camera view, I still have 3 foot of space to back up. Can I bend the bracket down to give me a more accurate distance of where I should stop when backing up? Additionally, is there an adjustment on the red/yellow guidelines to give them a more accurate reference to where I can actually stop before hitting anything?

So the bracket, it is essentially held on by the spare tire being bolted down tight, pancaked so to speak? If so that's a bad design, unless I'm missing something?
