Thanks for the warm climate growing tip! We're in Southern Nevada and weren't sure when to harvest. I ended up with a giant pile of small florets and a bunch of yellow flowers after watching your video. Was really rewarding to have something from my own garden with dinner!
The bees love the flowers so I'm going to leave that part of the plant out there so they pollinate the rest of the garden.

I'm new to this and growing Slow Bolt Broccoli. I had no clue what "Bolt" meant. This was very helpful because one of my broccoli did bolt and I thought I missed my chance. It has started to flower so I just need to decide if I want to harvest the 1 or, let the bees enjoy. I'm in central Florida on the west coast near the gulf. We had a frost in February and March and April have been hot until yesterday. This is a learning experience for me. Thanks for your great video!!

Glad I watched this video thank you! I've planted about 20 of these in a area about 2 foot by 1 foot this is clearly not enough room and some will need digging up and planting in the ground, thank you

Grew broccoli for the first time this winter & it was great! I'm in Northern California and it's been cool & wet. Love it steamed or stir fried with other veggies.

Hey there, I live in deep south Texas and will be harvesting 32 broccoli plants for the 2nd time myself this weekend. Just like in Cali I have only about 2 weeks of really frigid temps. The new broccoli sprouts don't get as big as the main crown, but all together add up to about the same quantity. I use the remains of the plants as great compost for the coming corn, tomato and pepper plants that will be going out in the main garden. Broccoli with cheese sauce is how we like it here mmmm. Happy gardening :)

Growing broccolini for the 1st time. Looks just like your so I will cut some today! Video is great looking forward to following you this year! Are you growing potatoes? Some leftover spuds in the ground came up after our crazy rain last month! Added a few more to them and all up above the ground. So happy to be back in the garden!
