That sort of explains why when Ashley did her debriefing she told Chief Peek they left on a bad note and he told her he didn’t think so. When she said that I didn’t understand why she said that and I agreed with Chief Peek that I didn’t think they left on a bad note. Here it turns out her memory of it was off and she remembered it as him being mad her.
