ERRATA: At 1:23 I said 'static routes by default have an administrative distance of 5'. The actual default AD of static routes is 1 (I mixed it up with Juniper devices, in which static routes have an AD of 5).

Hey Jeremy, long time follower of the series. I wanted to let you know today that as of yesterday I passed my CCNA exam! I couldn’t have done it without this amazing series and your help! This series really helped me kick start my studying and set me off to an amazing start. To everyone here if you’re not using the Anki flash cards you’re really missing out!

awesome work as always. just to recap for my own sake, the floating static route could be use as a backup route in case an interface goes down or something happens with ospf but in order to make sure that we dont break ospf, as the primary routing protocol configured, we configure floating static route the same as a static route but then add at the end of the command a metric higher than ospf of 110. thanks again Jeremy!

Hi Jeremy thank you for providing this free course! I was able to pass my Comptia Network+ now I'm using your course to re-inforce the knowledge by watching your examples doing the hands on labs. Not planning on getting the CCNA yet though. Can't wait to keep watching your videos!

Love this series. Would be grateful to see some firewall troubleshooting: how one could troubleshoot which firewall is blocking connectivity between hosts.

I discovered my issue, I was not waiting long enough for the OSPF routing to come up.

nothing is better than Jeremy giving "another tool" (Tracert) that you already used for this lab.
