You did a really good job taking an emotional song and covering it with an equal amount of emotion, but also a very different one. The original singer's voice is full of submission and defeat, and even at the parts where they sound angry, it still doesn't compete with the suffocating ocean of helplessness that it can only barely eek out of. Here, your voice makes it sound like the subject of the song is a second away from snapping completely, forcing a smile on their face in a desperate and surely temporary attempt to hide their rage that's just barely boiling beneath the surface. Both feelings are appropriate to the song itself, so I'd call this a very successful cover. Excellent work.

I love this cover. Compared to the pure angst of the original this sounds lighter but they way she smiles and the “I am drowning” part makes her seem so furious that she’s reached the point of smiling like a deadly happy if that makes sense

At first I wasn't a big fan of the cover because, and this is a bit odd to say but, I thought your voice was too 'pretty' to go with the style of the song. But after about 45 seconds into the song it started growing on me, and I definitely liked the style of it. Like FuzzyPickles42 said, you took the lyrics of the song and applied a different set of emotions to it, but ones that worked perfectly well. I was a bit worried that the song would basically just be sung for the sake of the artist to show off their playing and singing, but ultimately this cover more than does the original justice - not only did it avoid just singing the lyrics to the song simply to sound pretty, you crafted her own style to the subject and it worked, rather than just going for the same style as the original.
