That doesn't make any sense. If that chemical protects the queen and then she passes that along to all her brood then she would also pass that along to all her future queens that she makes. If the future Queens don't have the immunity then I doubt the workers would have the immunity to either

Also that's a lot of work to capture every single one of your Queens put them in a cage for 7 days. If you did that during spring you'd put your hive back at least a month
