Iron Maiden: Wasted Years (Guitar Solo Cover)

My take on Adrian's wonderful solo from the first single off their 1986 masterpiece, Somewhere In Time.

I think another subtle addition to this solo is Steve's higher bass playing just before his descending lick, makes it really interesting for the ear without being too invasive into the solo.

I absolutely love this song, I still remember when this album came out in 86, I was 15 years old and this song and entire album is so nostalgic to me and brings back so many good memories. Thank you so much and your playing is always spot on and your playing is the best I've ever seen on YouTube. I just love how this solo rings out when Bruce is starting to sing again. More bands should play guitar solos like that, just because someone is singing does not mean a guitar can not sing at the same time in the back round. Others do it too but it should be more common, that is what I mean, so awesome.
