Touch your inner space, which is nothingness manifestation.guide as silent and empty as the sky; it is your inner sky. Once you settle down in your inner sky, you have come home, and a great maturity arises in your actions, in your behavior. Then whatever you do has grace in it. Then whatever you do is a poetry in itself. You live poetry; your walking becomes dancing, your silence becomes music

I sit here, 65 years old worked hard for so many years, kids grown - well educated, house paid for, no debt - bought a new vehicle and will pay off. savings for retirement. So mad at myself that I worked all these years and did not take care of my retirement. Just worked and the years flew. My kids live out of town and my enjoyment is to go see them and my grandkids. After listening to this podcast and others I look for a glimpse of what I can do now. I am exhausted and do not want to continue working. I am that employee that locks the door at the end of the day. Regrets now - that I did not take care of me - I just kept working. I hope people will read this and realize - time to take care of you!!! It’s our responsibility to do so.

10:00 Programming your paradigm.
1. Study every day.
2. Have a mentor.
3. Have a goal
4. Write the goal down - It commits the goal intellectually. A thought precedes your thoughts.

My dad also passed out working so hard he had forgotten to eat for 2 days. I love my dad. He was always a good worker, never in debt, generous, and was rich in all that mattered.

Your parents are not your emergency fund. Your children are not your retirement fund. Build your own wealth.

"Nobody likes a kid that long"...that's how we grew up. Quality time with parents a few times a day, then played outside or in our room. Parents were not our playmates. Encouraged our curiosity and made us figure out life.

Lewis is great and I dont think he is that interested in being a billionaire, he is more interested in helping people. I admire this about him.

I am not wealthy but I always maxed out on 401k, got the company match and invested s&p 500. After 30 years that’s a lot of money and I never noticed that money coming out of my paychecks. That’s over $2 million now. The only reason that happened is because in orientation I happened to sit next to someone who told me to do that. Thank you to that person.

Sometimes things happen very fast just after the shift of an attitude. In two weeks you can stand in a totally different place than where you were before. Then the past feels like a bad dream.

"When you pay, you pay attention." This is still true to today. So many people who are handed things do not take good care of the item handed to them, if you pay for it though you take better care of the items.

I made a lot of mistakes in the past, because I didn't have supportive parents or mentors to guide me. However, I never allowed that to effect me instead I always try to look forward to the next steps in my life, and revaluate what didn't work out in the past and create a new blue print for myself by investing and continue to work on my career in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Thank you so much for sharing you're strategies and tips with us I greatly appreciate you!

This is exactly what I needed to hear today. This game me a re-boost in life. Thank you so much. We have so much more life to live. We just need to re-evaluate, readjust, and reboot. There is always hope even in 2020 with a pandemic.

I grew up in abject poverty and have done well for myself, but I am still saddled with a poor man’s mentality. It’s hard to break from: scrimp, save and work harder if that’s what you’ve been taught since childhood.

Rich people focus on investing; poor people focus on saving. You can never get rich by saving.

Follow these rules:
1) Save 10% of your income.
2) Live below your means.
3) If you use credit cards, pay them off in full each month. If you can't pay them off in full each month, don't use them.
4)After you've saved a few thousand dollars, invest it in balanced index funds.
This is a good start. After you get these steps down pat, read everything you can get your hands on about personal money management and investing.
