How can Paxman be angry that the Labout manifesto represents the whole party's beliefs and not just Corbyn's? Surely that's the sign of a good leader - he does have his own ideas but he's willing to listen to the masses, go with what the majority want and do what's best for the country, not just his own agenda.

In Spain we have a TV interviewer that copied Paxman's style right from the start of her career. The best critique to it was given by the Mayor of Madrid: "It's great that you're so eager to ask me so many things, but I think the people would enjoy more this interview If you also allowed me to answer them."

I actually think it's a good thing that he hasn't just shoved his ideas in the the manifesto. A leader which democratically creates a manifesto is a far better leader than a dictator.

Paxman needs some serious etiquette lessons. There's a big difference to being assertive and being plain rude!

Jeremy Paxman has lost any charm he once had and is just plain rude. He is always interrupting and appears not even to try to understand the answers given to him. He sticks to a premeditated script and the interview becomes more tedious as a result. He's no longer the great interviewer he once was IMO, gone pretty steeply downhill since leaving newsnight.
