You guys need to take a shortwave UV flashlight down in those caves that have crystal and mineralization. Some crystals and mineral will glow like florescent paint under that light. Crystal collectors sometimes use them when hunting for crystal!

I'll bet you're the only person to have ventured all the way down to the bottom of that "grotto" that's probably underwater a good bit of the time, and now we're probably one of the few people to have ever seen it, so thanks for bringing us along. That place is amazing.

Always frightening when I think of how often we used to run deep into the woods as children. Especially in winter when you can't see these holes under the snow. We never thought of anything like that

Thanks for the vids. Lets us old timers go caving again without the need for orthopedic doctors afterwards! My dad and I caved in the southern Missouri/Northern Arkansas regions and were members of the NSS, MSS, and a few local grottos. We hit over 1000 wild caves in our trips. Fitton in Arkansas, hikes to Lechuguilla in NM and we discovered a few virgin caves along the way. Keep it up and stay safe!

that dome structure at the basement of that rock pile was worth it! I was full blown panic mode watching your descent but you had it locked in, those damp muddy walls were super sketch though man!

I'm constantly surprised how little wild life and insects are in these caves. I always thought caves would be filled with bears, bats and slimy bugs.
