Fun Fact: The orange haze in the PS2 was actually put in to cover up the limitations of the console such as the poor draw distance and lack of Anti-Aliasing.

The orange hue on the PS2 adds a lovely atmosphere and fits the California vibe of SA.

Although the graphics aren't the best on PS2 it has that orangey/pinky tint which makes it feel much more like California in the early 90s. PS2 captured the atmosphere the best, imo.

The PS2 version is still the best. I have no idea why, but it makes the game more original. The color effects on PS2 are a bit better, you have that feeling of playing the original GTA San Andreas. PC, Xbox, 360 and Mobile versions are also pretty amazing, but, yet, again, PS2 version beats 'em all. My opinion.

Idea. Get the colour tone from the ps2 version, the shadows from the PC and the updated models from the xbox360/mobile, then what do ya get? :D

The HD mobile/360 version is now available on Steam.  And it's S-U-C-K-S. 

-removes 18 songs

-revokes all mods created for San Andreas on PC
-deletes all of your previous save files
-removes 1280x700 resolution
-has various textures missing and things like foilage completely removed

And people say THIS was a better version than the 2004 PC version ? Let me laugh...

Oh my Gosh, it almost look like a new game. What can I say... Rockstar did an amazing work with this game.. it's probably the best GTA so far. I mean it's so complete, 10 years and I still love to play it... I love you Rockstar, I really hope that the GTA V DLC will be with gangs and stuff just like in San Andreas... Oh, also... I miss San Fierro... I miss Las Venturas... I miss this map... I miss CJ... I hope Rockstar will make a GTA game similar to this one, the story sometime around 90's... and see CJ, in a HD Era, even if this is impossible, as Rockstar claimed. #LoveRockstar

The remake should've added the lighting effects from the PS2, I knew it was to hide the draw distance but it was a cool effect though.
