Both Rolex and Ulysse Nardin manufacture exceptional timepieces! Because of beyond brilliant marketing, Rolex has placed itself on a horological pedestal that no other wristwatch manufacturer will likely ever be able to touch. The truth is that most people that know nothing about wristwatches likely assume that Rolex is "the best watch." Although Rolex is an extremely well-made wristwatch that should last many lifetimes, the truth is that there are many other wristwatches that may surpass the quality of Rolex watches in multiple areas. Within this video, I compare Ulysse Nardin to Rolex. If you like Ulysse Nardin, you should look at Girard Perregaux. There were both bought from the Kering group 2017-2018 by the same guy/group. I'm a big fan of the Girard Perregaux Laureato

Nardin > Rolex. Not a Rolex guy at all. Just too obvious. I'll take IWC, Ulysse, and Kurono Tokyo over it every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I got a blue and yellow gold ulysse nardin marine chronometer and a sd43 seadweller.
Both are excellent but the ulysse wouldn't be easy to sell, I also got a hugh discount on my new ulysse and I'm not looking to sell it anyway.

It's not pronounced Ulyssey. Ulysse no "y" in the pronunciation. I have the Maxi-Marine Blue Surf. Amazing watch.

Im happy you’re so great that you have a lot of dicipline. But there’s also people thay live in tropic climates or retain more/less water throughout the day. In those cases the glidelock is very practical

I dont think ulysse nardin is underated, i think they are a little too expensive, every luxury brand think being mkre expensive than rolex give them more credibility, like jaeger lecoultre who is sooo expensive today, breguet, blanclain, ulysse nardin, etc...i think they could be mkremafordable, because yes they are good, nice, elegant and very well made watches but why try to be just expensive?

I have a Ulysses Nardin marine chronometer in two tone- blue and rose gold, 43mm with roman numerals. I can surely attest it looks more original in its design and also aesthetically for superior to my Rolex yacht master black dial with black rubber strap. UN is very underrated.
