I think that JoJo released this because on top of the Colleen controversy there was also the XOMG Pop controversy. JoJo said that she had been sitting on this for 2 years because she didn't feel like she was a bad girl at 18.
iNabber did a video about it and said that in that way she achieved her aim as you now have to really search to have results come up for either of them.
JoJo in her interviews was saying that she is going through her Bangerz era (she is a big Miley fan) but when it came closer to the release date she was saying that people who came before that are her inspiration.
She has also said dumb things like she was wanting to invent gay pop which she has had to back track from.

this song is an exact copy of a song released in 2012 also named Karma by Brit Smith, barely any difference between this song and the original.

This song was actually originally wrote for miley cyrus back in 2010 but she passed on it then an artist named brit smith recorded this song in 2012 and made a music video to it but it eneded up not being realeased but the music video eneded up being leaked and it became really popular especially on tiktok so brit smith fully realeased the song and her versin is way better tbh you should react to her version

I dont really agree with comparing T.a.t.u. to Jojo. there are so many music videos where lovers are kissing or having some sort of affectionate or seductive choreography in the rain. To me, it just feels like you are trying to specifically make it seem like its bad because theyre both lesbian music videos.

...not a hater, because to her this is obviously her 'art', but oh puhleeze! like you say, we have all seen this before - young ladies who are (perhaps) afraid of being typecasted as nice young ladies and perceived as no fun or not serious artists, so they have to do the 'bad girls have more fun' thing as a rite of some sort of passage. It comes across to me as disingenuous and unauthentic.

I am by no means a singer or anything more than an aspiring Disney Princess reaching midlife, but I can hear the ever loving crap out of the layering, tuning, pitch correcting.
I've just been looking for clips of her dancing because as an ex-dancer, I find her movements to be clunky, rough, and very rigid. She looks like a toddler being aggressively electrocuted by their Tickle Me Elmo toy.
