What Leighton is missing is that sooner or later we have to be done with sources of error. (See Paul's letter to Titus.) If we see Leighton as being wrong on even the first viewing, we have no obligation to him to learn what he believes and be able to present his position accurately and on his behalf. Wrong is wrong.

Jason Breda's new ten-video series on Two-Part Romans just launched. He asserts that we have to have the right starting point, and if we don't, we will go wrong from there. He then goes wrong in that first video. We have no obligation to Jason to hear him out in future videos in this series and weigh what he says, as if it could be right, based on his own standard.

Gotta disagree with you a bit brother, I don’t feel Akin is compelling. I think his debate performance was awful and purposely misleading. Both nights Akin argued for positions that Rome doesn’t even hold and he didn’t engage with what James even said. Personally I find Akin dishonest and offensive. But that’s just me. I can still respect your opinion. I know you don’t agree with him, was just responding to your initial comment.
