Sloth bears don’t bluff when they charge. If they charge, they’re going for the kill. Making noises with the bell will alarm it so that’s another bad idea as well. The best thing that you can do in a situation if you don’t have any weapons is to just either fight for your life or use anything you have on you as a weapon if you’re able to.

If you ever encounter a sloth bear, make sure to have clean fresh socks on and make sure your feet is dry. This is because Sloth Bears are notoriously known for their inability to resist licking and sucking on particularly pungent smelling feet.. Often resulting in the victim's pregnancy
