Rainbow Swipe Technique with Acrylics *Acrylic Pour with Liquid Silicone*
In today's video I am doing a swipe technique with a damp paper towel and a rainbow of colors! I am working on a small 6 x 12 inch canvas and have black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple mixed up. About 2 parts floetrol to 1 part paint and then I slowly add water until it is the consistency that I want for pouring. I added one drop of liquid silicone into the black and WOW did that create some amazing cells throughout the painting once I swiped!
The painting moved a little while it was drying, but this is an awesome technique if you want some great cells throughout your painting! And the colors blended beautifully from the swipe too!
