The feeling when you watch old Bond clips to see the classic cars and you realize that they were top-of-the-line machines back then...

I like how Bond just looks confused the whole time as the whole thing unfolds in back of him, lol.

In my opinion, Fiona Volpe and Red Grant (blonde assassin from "From Russia with love") are the best henchmen in Bond history. Just two normal, smart and competent assassins who are really good at their job are much more threatening than some braindead, super strong musclemen (I like those too, don't get me wrong). I wish there were more henchmen like them in the series.

I know film historians consider Goldfinger the best Bond film, but I think Thunderball is better; followed by OHMSS. Incredible underwater fight scenes in Thunderball, and one of the best ski chase scenes ever in OHMSS.

One of the few Bond movies where the car actually survives

My cousin took me to a walk in to see Thunderball. I was 8 or 9. I was hooked. I still think it was the best Bond movie. And Sean Connery is and was the ultimate 007. The rest are just imitations.

The reason we quite liked this scene is it has one of the few puzzles in the series Bond never solves: he never learns of the true nature of Count Lippe, and he never learns the identity of the motorcyclist.

Rip Sir Sean Connery the legendary actor who made the role James Bond iconic.

Filmed back in the day when cars were routinely run on nitroglycerine.

I live for the awkward look Bond has at around 0:12 after the gunshot, like "Should I explain to this guy who I am and how this car is probably bulletproof and how shooting left-handed out the window with a snub-nose revolver isn't exactly going to cut it against James Bond? Like, I don't want to come off as snobbish, but I feel like this is going to be such a waste of my time and his life? What should I do? What should I say?"

Bond: I wasn't even a part of that, it just sorta happened to me.
Feathered friend: it was cool though

It would be far less irritating if the title were correct.

... It's just sort of a musing going through these clips and watching how filmmaking has changed over the decades that Bond has been made.
Sort of like a time capsule, you can see primitive techniques grow and evolve into the slick production we have today

Bond filed this under "No Longer My Problem."
And then went to office.

"Bond. James Bond."
One of the best British comedies ever!
These things are so far over the top that it's hard keep from laughing through the whole thing.
This is absurdity at the highest level. 🤣😅

Fun fact. The motorcycle crash was shot at the Silverstone Circuit.😊
