0:00 - Starts off with a distorted guitar
0:40 - Second distorted guitar clashes
1:09 - Lower pitched guitar leaves; talk about panned delayed violins
1:35 - Increase in dynamics
1:56 - ticking sound to induce fight or flight
2:50 - A low distorted guitar crescendoing
3:20 - Leaves only a pulsing bass (fight or flight) playing bringing the piece close to silence, making the listener uncomfortable
3:40 - breaks silence by having other instruments crescendoing in
6:35 - calmer section; can describe it as the calm before the storm
7:31 - overwhelming orchestra crescendos in; causes anxiety after the peaceful section

I remember being a sophomore in high school when this movie came out. This was the film score that definitively introduced me to Hans Zimmer. I'm fairly certain this is the first time I actually bought any film soundtrack. It was and still is one of my favorites. It's a true master class in how to make an audience feel absolutely every last note.

Interesting fact about the composition of this score: Hans Zimmer added blades to the bow of cello and violins to add tense to the score and a high pitch grins

Idk why, but my favourite part is the fading out part. It feels like even after noise (his presence) is gone, the silence will never be the same. It will always haunt you. It's really amazing.
