Great save by the pilot flying. At 0:11 you can see what appears to be full elevator deflection which saved the nose-wheel from slamming into the runway and potentially collapsing...

Right move at the right time! Had he not gone around the next touchdown could have been much harder, he would have needed power to soften the blow and would have taken him too far down the runway....That last little nose dip did him in...Thanks for posting! BA pilots ALWAYS nail their landings. Honestly, huge kudos to the training team at BA for having the best pilots! I hope to be one of them one day! ☺️

Whoa. That was a lot scarier than you might think (unlike most other "airliner almost crashed" scare stories). Quite a nasty wind shear just at the flare, looks like hitting the runway hard with the nosegear was only narrowly avoided. Well handled!
