I know Sebi for years, that this dream finally comes true for him, is unbelievable. There aren't many drivers I met in motorsports nor simracing that are this talented, humble and focused. If anyone should get the chance, it is him.

This is just awesome. The 992 GT3 Cup car is one of the most difficult cars to drive. Sebastian seems like a proper dude with great talent! Wish him all the best for the future.

One of the best current esport drivers, so happy for Seb! LETS GO!
I totally love that from my own experience, sim drivers can really quickly get to certain pace, which is insane:)

This question has been answered many times, and the answer is unequivocally YES. Talent, devotion, and opportunity is "all" you need. These guys all have talent and devotion, but need opportunities like this to show it. Cool!

👀 Jimmy Boradbent 👀 Super Steve GT.. We’ve seen our youtube heroes drop mega stints with amateur amounts of hours behind the wheel so yeah it works..

I just started sim racing last year but have a long history of real life motorsports and I'm just hear to say how racing sims blow my mind how they simulate real life driving.

What he said in the video confirms what I struggle with in my sim racing which is braking.

In real life I judge braking by the g forces and the feeling in the seat as to how much to apply. I never have issues braking IRL.

You get some feedback in the sim wheel but I have to rely on visual cues or brake markers more than the actual feeling in your butt in the seat, and g forces of how much to apply.
I was already a good driver in real life from years experience of being a hot rod, but sim racing is reinforcing and strengthening things I already was doing by instinct.

I had doing trail braking for years before knowing it was an actual term.

And what I called "finding traction" was following the race line. This kid is going to be brilliant because he's going to have real world experience in a fraction of the time that real drivers spend years in track days and racing events. And also, competing in races he's going rise quickly because of the countless lobbies he's competed in sims.

Because getting a good solo lap time is completely different than a race with others. He already has a developed race craft.

Awesome to see more incredibly talented sim racers earning the chance to prove themselves in real racecars. As someone who shares the journey from gamer to racer, I’m cheering you on every step of the way. Make us proud, Seb. You’ve got this!

As more and more people take this step i can almost cry, allowing more talent to shine and not being totally closed of will be good for racing as a whole 👍🏼🔥

As an amateur sim racer, what an absolute dream come true it must be for Seb. So happy to see that something like this is possible.

The Porsche cup cars are absolutely bonkers! It's simply lovely how close the GT3 RS (992) is to the full on race car now compared to any previous generation IMO. One of the future videos you guys should do is the sim vs cup car vs 992 GT3 RS! Even doing the video of sim vs cup car would be a blast to watch :D

RBR, thank you for doing this series! I'm a noob in sim racing by basically every measure, but it definitely carries over extremely well and this is just further proof. It really helps people that will never be able to race a real variation of the car be able to push to the limit and experience the thrills.

Let's go mate! So cool that RBR are posting this, we need more exposure for sim-racing. It improves it for the average folk like me and allows more people to experience motorsport without forking hundreds of thousands!
