The coffee thing isn't practically true, it's the coffee beans themselves that cause dehydration but as a drink they are mixed with a whole cupful of water wich more than makes up for that small amount.

Another good tip: Never, and I mean EVER, board a plane on an empty stomach. You may feel fine on the ground, but that hits different in the air. This is especially true if you drank a coffee before hand and nothing else. EAT BEFORE YOU GET ON A PLANE.

Dude, NO. Do not flirt with people on the job. People think they have better luck flirting with people in service jobs, but the workers are forced to be nice to everybody as a part of their job. They're acting nice because they have to, bro. All you're doing is making them uncomfortable.

If you absolutely must, just ask 1-2 simple, direct questions that don't put them in such a hard place, and drop it if they say no or look uncomfortable. Like, "Can I have your number?" Or "Do you want to go get coffee when your shift is up?" Or even "Any recommendations for places I should check out in the area/where the plane arrives?" Then, if they say one, ask if they'd like to go together.

Those are the kinds of questions they can pretty reasonably say yes or no to without breaking the polite service worker facade.

Its not the air pressure that dehydrates you. Its the dry air. Air in the airplane comes from outside which though only one way the engines. The extremely dry hot air is then cooled and put into the plane which around is 2% humidity.

Uhhh No flight attendants don’t want to be flirted with -not all anywaus not as blanketly as this "tip" had been stated I mean are we even considering the people and what they want while trapped in a flight with you. they wanna be tipped well and just treated with respect while working, it's not a dating experience 😒 I mean I guess go for it but saying it like that it’s just kind of weird. 2. actually coffee doesn’t dehydrate you as such. But it makes you wanna pee. So people you can still drink coffee to wake up before flying
Also while it’s technically not illegal to flirt with the air crew, it’s not usually a very good idea. They are working people.
