Starting off, let's first look into What Height Is Considered Tall For A Man?

The answer to this is "6 feet and above" (or 182 cm or above). Usually men who are 6 feet and above in height are considered tall.

6 feet is often considered the borderline area between average and tall for men. But does this mean that all men under 6 feet are short? Obviously not, as there is a good range of height in-between that is completely decent, like 5 ft 5 (or 165 cm) to 5 ft 11 (or 180cm).

Moreover, the perception of tall can vary quite a bit depending on the geographical area. For instance, the average height of Indonesia is 5 ft 2 (or 158 cm).

This means even being a bit above that would make you above average over there, even if you remain below average in height in countries like the United States or United Kingdom. Moving on to the height that is considered short for men.

5 ft 3 or shorter (or 162 cm), this is the heightthat is considered to be short for a man considering all of the averages and the holistic averages of the world. To elaborate, The average height of men in the world is about 171 cm or 5 ft 6 and a half feet.

So to sum it up if you are a man of height of 5 ft 3 (or 162 cm) or shorter, you are mostly considered a short male nearly all around the world.

Moving on to women!

5 feet 8 (176 cm or above) and above is the height that is considered tall for women all around the world. Again, this doesn’t mean that the height below that are short as heights between 5ft 3 (or 162 cm) to 5ft 8 (or 176cm) are also considered decent heights for women.

To further elaborate the Average Height Of Women In The World is 5 Feet 3 inches (or 162 cm).

So keep that in mind whenever you’re thinking of height when it comes to women
