Why don't cyclists use perfectly good cycle lanes? Part1

I often get the comment "why when there's a perfectly good path do you cycle in the road?" or similar often less polite variations.
So I thought i'd answer those questions, with a few shorts films of some of the paths I encounter on a daily basis,
Don't get me wrong - I like cycle paths. If they keep me safe, out of traffic & where I need to then i'll gladly use them.
Sadly most don't meet this criteria......
