I love that you gave an honest review, everyone talking about this like it’s one of the best out there. And you’re right it does smell a bit more feminine, that’s the first thing I noticed. I been getting disappointed by these hyped up fragrances as of late such as PDM Oajan and Bond no 9 New York nights. I tried oajan in person at a store was way more boozy than I thought and I didn’t smell that “bakery” smell people were talking about. Same thing with Bond no 9 New York nights I ordered a 10 ml sample so I could get a decent amount of uses out of it first and I felt it to be weak and the smell not be like “ a toasted banana” bread. I will say Layton was hyped up and I was a fan when I tried it though it just smelt like a good blue/ fresh scent nothing special, and definitely not for the price. PDM Althair has been the best warm scent I have smelt so far, and second would be JPG elixir. The sweet warm boozy whatever you want to call it scent I’ve smelt so far is JPG Elixir and Lattafa Khamrah Qahwa. I paid a the same amount for my 10 ml vial of bond no 9 as i did for a 100 ml bottle of khamrah Qahwa lol. They make great layering tho btw

I buy for my first time and I don’t like it. I don’t even know if it smell like banana bread but I tested on my leg because I didn’t even want to put it on my hands. I could smell like coffee in it banana bread, yeah for real butam I gonna buy another bottle? I shouldn’t even ask myself that question I should ask myself. Am I even gonna use this bottle that I have?
