What a lovely inn this is and how on earth Nina has managed to keep it so nice is beyond me. As for dogs - if you don’t like dogs don’t go there, as a dog lover I think we need more dog friendly places, I mean they’re not hanging around in the kitchen and people who go to this inn know their dogs are welcome too. It’s not a dingy inn but just needs a few tweaks. I wish Nina every success.

One of the best episodes with Alex I've seen where the owner took on board all the improvements suggested. In fact went beyond, offering dogs and their owners more to enhance their stay 🌟🤗

Love taking my dogs on long country walks, then back to a nice country pub, restaurant for a drink and meal and occasionally stay. But I do think only certain bedrooms should be open for dogs.

I hope that the Proprietor set up an outside dog washing so those pampered pooches can get cleaned up after their exciting walks through the cow paddocks! this was such a fun episode!

I hate extra cushions and throws on a bed. They get dumped in a corner until i leave. I wonder how often they get cleaned!

Looking for updates, it seems as of September 2023 the pub was sold to a new landlord after offering limited services for three months (limited hours and often no food). Nina had opened a second pub, The Half Moon, but it seems she may also have sold that. So great she kept going for so long, but I wonder what caused her to sell.

Brilliant! Hilarious! Our old Border Collie was a terror for rolling in poo - I hope they had a good dog wash area, they would certainly need it!! DO hope she;s doing well - it's not easy finding affordable dog-friendly accommodation. (Always be cautious walking dogs through cattle, especially cows, ESPECIALLY with calves, never let the dog off-lead.) Really positive episode, makes a difference when the owner wants to be successful - and listens to Alex!

One of the nicest hotel owners, so far. She deserves to be very successful. As previous dog owner, great difficult was had finding a holiday home, where we could bring our two dogs. Hope this idea I catches on. I have a f a moly member( extended) who can’t dedd as l with dogs near food etc. Then there is many places they can go well done Gina👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
