Join me as I explore the small town of Montana, Bulgaria! In this vlog, I’ll take you on a journey through some of the town’s historical treasures, starting with Castra Ad Montanesium, the ancient Roman Fortress that showcases the region's rich history.

Next, we’ll visit the Local History Museum, where I’ll share fascinating insights into the cultural heritage of the area. Finally, we’ll stroll through the City Square, which features the Mikhaylovgrad Monument, dedicated to Khristo Mikhaylov -- the figure after whom the town was named during the communist era until it returned to its original name, Montana, in 1993.

Whether you're a history enthusiast or just curious about Bulgaria, I hope you enjoy it!

I'm trying to get more comfortable with filming myself. I'd say this is my most vulnerable travel vlog to date. I hope you enjoy it and learn something new! 😊

As a Bulgarian, Montana is really not on the top of tourist destinations I recently visited on my way to another city. Would recommend Belogradchik Rocks and Castle nearby a really amazing place. Those Kiosk you've mentioned I am not sure where you've got this information never heard of it before, the machine you saw next to the Roman bathhouse is ordinary coffee machine, very popular in Eastern Europe and are more of a recent thing.
