"Your vids are the best on scrap metal on YouTube, hands down."

Great video! I have literally spent thousands of dollars paying to put computers "E-waste" in our municipal transfer station. My dad started a few years ago taking "Green Boards" as he called them to the yard he scraps at but they have since stopped taking electronic scrap.

I just found your channel, audio in this one isn't so great but other than that best scrap metal video channel ever! I am an IT director and have had tons of servers/pcs/printers/monitors that I have always paid to get rid off or took them to free e-waste days at the city. Now I'm kicking myself for not scrapping them! In a guesstimate how much would say 10 computers be worth broken down?

Apparently it is worth it to cut off all the gold plated pins and stuff, not to extract the gold yourself though unless that is something you do already and have knowledge about. There exists a huge market of buyers on ebay that will buy it from you at much higher prices than a scrap yard will offer you. Alot of escrap in general goes for more on ebay as long as you have the patience to list it and ship it but as with anything once you get going you can get a real good revenue stream coming in.

This might be a stupid question but why do most people call it tin instead of steel

I just watched a video of a guy butchering a side of pork. This is the exact same thing without the pork meat, skin and bones.

So you cut the wire harness off of the power supply. To turn that wire harness in should you cut the zip ties and ends off? What is the price difference between just the wires compared to wires and ends?

volume is an issue here. I can hear what you're doing quite loudly but your voice is too low.

Hello there. I have been recycling aluminum cans and some household scrap metal for over 30 years. I am ready to start actually making some part time money recycling e-waste. My concern is what to do with all the plastic. Is there somewhere earth friendly I can take it? I live near Bracken Recycling. Thank you.
