I picked this up at Essen and I'm really looking forward to playing it soon. Really appreciate your thoughts on this, Paul. Great job as always.

Great stuff! Thanks for this. I have seen the game quite a bit but didn’t know too much about it until now. Hopefully Santa will provide me with the necessary funds to look for it in the new year!

Knowing full well you haven't played at 2p, what is your gut take on it via the scaling rules?

Game looks interesting and I'm glad you have a positive take on it, but I'm not sure I could get 4 people up and ready on a game this heavy on a regular enough basis.

Thanks and I'm really looking forward to more of your reviews! Do Spirit Island!!!

Very much worth committing some hardened Euro fans to learning the game and playing two or three more times in the not too distant future once you know the game. Then I think you get the most out of the game... do you agree Paul? If its doable with the legacy games and Charterstone and Gloomhaven etc. Then two or three games should be manageable. Equally, dont try this game with people who dont like slow, heavier games, or anyone who is that little bit too obsessed with thematic imbalances,
