What's the difference between hermeneutics and exegesis?

Do Christians need to keep the Sabbath or is that only for Jewish people?
So why does the clip have a different title to the debate?
To answer that question we first need some interpretation:
Hermeneutics is the branch of knowledge that deals with interpretation, especially of the Bible or literary texts.
Exegesis is the critical explanation or interpretation of a text, especially of scripture.
So in this clip when Steve refers to exegeting Scripture he is means interpreting verses individually.
